April 30th of 1970 The Oasis opened for the first time on the corner of State and Second street. The Oasis sold custard, ice cream, sodas and sandwiches back in the 70's. Over the years, the Oasis has became the towns favorite. With several owners and several new items added to the menu, the Oasis has grown. On March 11th of 2016, Hardy and Sally Ratcliff bought the place and opened up for the new season on March 18th and stayed open until November 18th. Hardy and Sally have had the dream of having a ice cream shop for several years and God just fulfilled that dream by making it happen. The Oasis invites anyone and everyone to come try out our shop. We love ice cream and there is not a better place to enjoy time with family and friends while having some yummy ice cream.
